Story of a man who breakfree from 9 to 5 jobs through Property investment.

Hi.Welcome to Henry Heng.com! I am an ordinary man like you, seeking to own business and enjoying the financial freedom and comfortable lifestyle in whatever legitimate way that is possible.. I have tried Waiter, MLM (10 years!), engineer, stock market investor, Marketing Manager, South East Asia Sales Channel Manager….. And finally I found my way to build a good property portfolio that enable me to retire comfortably whenever I want to. If you have the same dream with me or bigger dream than the comfortable lifestyle.. Then it means you are at the right place.

I born in a small village at Penang in 1974, number 4 among 5 siblings enable me having the resources I need to complete my engineering degree in UPM, and MBA in Strategic Management. The 10 over years corporate life enable me to enjoy the lime lights on the stage but behind the stage, still have many bosses to answer to. The jobs grant me money for a good lifestyle now, but it also tide me down. I may be a good manager, but I fail as a son, miserably as I am not able to be with my Penang family as often as I like. That is why, I determine to find ways to “jail-break” from this rat race.

I started to invest in property since 2010, attending a lot of seminars, trainings and do a lot of reading and field works. God bless the hardworking people, I manage to build a good property portfolio and enjoying the good passive incomes from these investments. My passion grows as I learned more about the power of property investment until one fine day in 2014, The late Steve Job’s quote striked into my mind: ” Love what you do, and you will excel there and enjoy your life”. With this, I decided to turn my part-time passion to full time jobs. A property investment consultant !

Along the way, I sat for the exam organized by Malaysia Real Estate Board (BOVAEP) and passed ALL the 12 subjects in 2014 & 2015 in my first attempt. The subjects that interest me a lot are law papers (Which deem to be the toughest papers among all)! Then in 2016, I advance further by taking another tougher exam (Property Management licence) organized by RISM (Royal Institute of Surveyor Malaysia).. So far, I have passed 5 papers ( including the Property Law!) and Valuation… Another 5 papers to go. These 2 qualifications, couple with the MBA in Strategic Management make me able to serve the needs of high profile investors and advocate them on ways to restructuring their investment portfolio and mitigating the risk.

2018 and moving forward….

After 3 years of meeting 1,000 over peoples, closing 100+ deals. I think it is hi-time for me to share my knowledge and my thought with greater audience. That is the reason why I kick-start this website. For the intelligent investors (like you) to share  views and serve as a platform to provide you the latest updates of the market that you need to know in making the right investment  decisions.
